Becoming Wildfire Prepared: The Fire Safe Vendor List helps California residents find the products, tools and services they need to protect their homes from wildfire devastation.

Wildfires are becoming more frequent, more intense, and more destructive—especially in California. But in the face of this growing threat, the California Fire Safe Council (CFSC) is leading the charge to help communities prepare, adapt, and thrive. As the statewide hub for over 300 local fire safe councils, CFSC provides grant funding, technical assistance, and educational support to help communities reduce wildfire risk and build long-term resilience. Since its inception, CFSC has made a BIG impact:

Over $140 million in grant funding awarded
1,200+ projects supported statewide
Nearly 400 communities engaged
More than 36,000 educational programs delivered
Thousands of homes and properties made safer

Introducing the Fire Safe Vendor List

CFSC’s newest initiative, the Fire Safe Vendor List, is a free statewide resource connecting Californians with trusted businesses offering wildfire preparedness tools and services. Categories include emergency response equipment, fire-resistant building materials, wildfire mitigation platforms, and more. The list features both established and emerging vendors delivering innovative solutions, and is considered a go-to tool for collaboration, safety, and wildfire preparation.
