We are stronger when we work together, which is why Fire Safe Marin is working with the residents of Marin County to help promote and facilitate community retrofit programs. 90% of structures ignite due to embers, and vents are one of the most vulnerable entry points. When combined with the 0–5 non combustible zone, screening vents is a low-cost and high impact solution.
Wildfire Defense Mesh’s community program helps facilitate community mesh retrofits with an installer or as a DIY (or a combination of both).
